Venue: ZAC Paris Nord 2, 93420 Villepinte, Paris, France
(Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre)
Held annually since 1965, the French Composites Exhibition stands as Europe's and indeed the world's longest-running and largest specialised trade fair for the composites industry. It showcases and reflects the latest technologies and application achievements within the sector. Exhibits predominantly serve applications across automotive, marine and yachting, aerospace, construction materials, rail transport, wind power generation, leisure products, piping, and power generation – a breadth of industry coverage unmatched by comparable events. The France Composites Exhibition and Conference stands as the sole event uniting the global composites industry. It serves as a comprehensive platform for extensive exchange between composites users, suppliers, researchers, and specialists, while also representing a hallmark and pathway for enterprises pursuing internationalisation.
New materials rank among the three pivotal technologies defining the 21st century, serving as both the driving force behind global economic expansion and a strategic focal point for enhancing core competitiveness. As the bedrock of manufacturing, the calibre and scale of new materials research and industrial development have become crucial indicators of a nation's scientific progress and comprehensive strength. According to data from AVK (Association of the German Plastics and Composites Industry), the composites sector achieved an average growth rate of 5.6% across Europe last year, with continued optimistic projections for the future. Notably, the natural fibre composites industry is anticipated to achieve double-digit annual growth. Spain, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, and France rank as the top five composites producers, collectively accounting for over one-third of Europe's total output.
